As Glossier grows and builds its brand marketing team, we’re looking for a creative and strategic Senior Director to lead a team of best-in-cass Brand Marketers.  Brand Marketing ideates go-to-market strategies and executes cross-functional project management of integrated marketing activities including product campaigns, retail openings, partnerships and brand campaigns.

You will be the glue that ties Marketing and Creative together, an important connection in  growing global brand presence and reach, reporting to the VP, Brand. You are able to drive a clear brand growth strategy. You have the tools and leadership to establish alignment on marketing objectives with cross functional partners. And, you take a data-driven marketing approach to the marketing calendar and key initiatives to drive brand resonance and growth.

Six Month Expectations

  • Lead a best-in-class Brand Marketing team inclusive of campaigns, Retail Marketing, Partnerships & Brand Media
  • Drive strategy, annual marketing budget, execution and KPIs for all brand marketing initiatives
  • Partner closely with Performance Marketing to drive a full-funnel marketing approach for maximum efficiency and reach

Twelve Month Expectations

  • Translate brand strengths and consumer insights into innovative and creative marketing initiatives designed to introduce new audiences and support strategic company growth objectives long term
  • Create efficient processes to manage project timelines for all marketing projects, including budgets, forecasting and long term planning
  • Oversee development and implementation of 2023 integrated marketing calendar that leverages creative thinking to achieve greatest reach and conversion
  • Empower direct reports to deliver all aspects of project prep, execution, and hindsights through effective coaching and development

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • BS in Marketing, Business, Finance or related field of study
  • Strong grasp of financial planning and forecasting
  • Stellar organizational skills
  • Excellent people management and development skills
  • A natural curiosity to measure, learn and iterate
  • Highly analytical and passionate about effective processes
  • Value brands with a strong sense of DNA
  • A people person with strong communication skills, including excellent writing skills
  • Ability to thrive in an fast-growth environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Media buying experience
  • Beauty experience
  • A passion for Glossier and all things beauty
