As a Data & Analytics Manager for our post sales teams, you’ll play a key role in helping Gong optimize the end to end customer journey. This includes identifying the right customers at the right time for our post sales teams to engage customers, the right insights to deliver to those customers, and measuring the efficacy of our interactions with our customers on their stated success criteria.
We're seeking someone based near one of the following cities: San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Chicago, or New York City.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Work with business stakeholders to translate business problems into the right analytics, data science, and/or statistical solutions. (Understand that our stakeholders’
- Build foundational data and visualizations to support analyses and enable business stakeholders to succeed (e.g., Build a dashboard for customer success to understand customer needs so as to drive retention)
- Apply statistical and/or data science techniques to optimize our business partners’ processes (e.g., measure the causal impact of Sales Engineers’ involvement on a deal’s likelihood to win)
- Use industry standard data tooling including dbt, snowflake, and Tableau to build ETL pipelines, visualizations, and production ML models.
- Communicate insights to business owners in concise, non-technical language.
- Build prototype data applications using python and tooling such as Workato (e.g., a quick application that can send alerts when something on an account changes)
- 6+ years of experience in a Data Science or relevant Analytics role
- Experience partnering with or supporting post-sales/customer success teams preferred
- Bachelors level in a quantitative field such as physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, or economics is preferred
- Ability to succeed in a fast paced and self directed environment
- A passion for B2B sales and how to be innovative in the use of data to help sales and customer success.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $106,350-$157,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
