About the Role As a Receiver/Inventory Associate, you’ll be the face of our Kitchen as our team is the first to greet all guests and vendors. You will have to drive a box truck, work in a team setting with other passionate team members to maintain our inventory’s quality standards and accuracy and have a range of duties that help support our team, detailed below. Schedule: 8 am-4:30 pm Mondat-Friday (can change based on business needs). Occasional Overtime
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet guests and vendors
- Check-in all orders and receive them in a timely manner
- Quality control of all incoming perishable items: temperature and quality
- Receive and communicate all deliveries on the appropriate platform
- Receive and palletize Good Eggs Kitchen products
- Load, unload, and drive our box truck between facilities
- Work with invoice information using Google Sheets and Google Docs
- Daily quality checks on in-house inventory: FIFO/Perishable Rotation
- Replenish daily staff snacks
- Weekly count of all inventory
- Maintain our retention samples
- Practice food, health, and occupational safety
Qualifications
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to work weekends on a regular basis are required. The Good Eggs Kitchen is a seven-day-a-week operation.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have insurance even if you do not own a vehicle.
- Prior relevant experience preferred.
- Basic food safety & FIFO knowledge required.
- Experience working with Google Suite products (i.e. Google Sheets, Google Docs) and an inventory management system preferred.
- Comfortable lifting heavy boxes and pushing or pulling heavy items that weigh between 30 and 50 pounds.
- Comfortable in walk-in coolers and freezers (temperatures as low as -10°F), not for long periods of time, but continuously in and out.
- Energetic, hard-working & committed to the success of the team.
- Ability to read, measure, and maintain accuracy doing repetitive tasks.
- Time management skills and sense of urgency.
- Willingness to learn and challenge yourself daily.

Working Conditions
- Busy, fast-paced Kitchen
- Flexible schedule required
- Night, weekend, and holiday shifts required
- Will be working at a computer for ~50% of your shift
- Cold environment for most/all of shift (45 Degrees and below)
- Will be going in and out of freezer or refrigerator as needed
- Job hazards may include slips and falls, cuts, and burns, but injuries are seldom serious
Physical Requirements
- We characterize this role as physically demanding Must be able to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, walking, balancing, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling carts, and handling materials
- Must be able to regularly lift, carry and push and pull between 30 to 50 pounds
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to work for extended periods in refrigeration and a freezer (-10F)
- Seating: Up to 1 hour per day
- Reaching: Up, down, or laterally, up to 8 hours per day
