Goody is looking for a creative, analytical, and design-minded lifecycle marketer to join our Growth team. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you’ll own our key channels for user engagement (email, push notifications, and in-app messaging), and develop data-driven strategies to convert consumer and business users into active customers.

Goody is both a B2C app and a B2B software platform, and a successful candidate will know how to craft exciting messaging that cuts through the noise and delivers relevant, personalized communications to both audiences.

This role is perfect for someone with email or lifecycle marketing experience who gets excited about building a distinctive brand, experimenting aggressively, and driving business results. If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk!

What are some of the opportunities you’ll tackle?

  • Own the content strategy for our email communications, such as our weekly newsletter and product announcements
  • Develop onboarding and lifecycle communications for new signups via email, in-app messaging, content recommendations, and more
  • Lead experiments — email, in-app, push notifications, and more — that drive B2C and B2B growth
  • Analyze our communications programs and their role in the customer lifecycle, and develop ideas for optimization and experimentation

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years at a B2B or consumer brand in a marketing role. Bonus points if it’s tech
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a growth marketing, lifecycle communications, or email marketing role
  • Excellent writing and editorial skills. (This person will write the copy that goes in our emails and push notifications, after all!)
  • Strong design sensibilities. This is not a design role, but you’ll work with designers to bring beautiful, pixel-perfect emails to life
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • Experience building email programs on a marketing automation platform like HubSpot, Braze, Marketo, or similar
  • Experience developing a brand that is unique, exciting and visually cohesive
  • Don’t check all the boxes above? Apply anyway. We’re building a team with diverse backgrounds and are open to all kinds of experience.
