We are hiring our first account executive to help us build our sales foundation and scale our growth.

We have a good idea of our ideal customer and are seeing strong traction, but have a lot of work to build a fully scalable sales motion. In this role, you will have ownership of the full sales cycle - from identifying leads to closing deals for mid-market companies and enterprises. You’ll lay the foundation for our growth by collaborating with teammates across GTM and Product teams to continuously refine our value proposition, sales methodology, and market positioning. Success in this role requires a combination of proactive prospecting, effective relationship-building, and expert knowledge of our product offerings.

You Will

  • Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach through to deal close. Find your way to the right people at prospective customers, educate them about LLMs, and help them succeed.
  • Drive top of funnel activity and manage your own pipeline
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams. You’ll get a chance to inform product roadmap by gathering customer feedback and sharing what features are resonating and what unsolved problems customers bring up. You’ll provide insights that strengthen our value proposition and improve marketing messaging.
  • Ideate on new sales processes and identify process improvements that optimize sales productivity and consistency.
  • Continuously refine the sales methodology by incorporating learnings into playbooks, templates, and best practices.

What will help you succeed

  • Experience: 3+ years of quota carrying and closing customers in B2B sales, with a track record of selling technical solutions to mid-market or enterprise clients.
  • Experience working in a startup (pre-series C)
  • Proven track record of generating lead pipeline, and of exceeding ****sales targets and quotas.
  • Familiarity selling to technical stakeholders, and securing deals by understanding multifaceted technical requirements and crafting tailored solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build connections across all customer levels, from ICs to C-level executives, with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You’re genuinely excited about AI and its potential societal impacts. You want to be part of a company helping to ensure that AI is safe and useful to society.
  • Growth mindset. Giving and taking feedback is one of the most important aspects of our company culture. The quicker you are able to act on feedback, the faster you learn.
  • Self-starter mentality with a drive to achieve. Strong ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.

Nice to have

  • Experience as an SDR. In generating prospects and leads creatively, leveraging various channels and techniques.
  • Experience as a founding AE
  • Experience at a developer focused company or in the AI space
  • Availability to work collaboratively in-office in our our office in San Francisco

Compensation

Compensation will be base + commission. The salary range here is just the base salary.
