Our story

Hyperline started during summer 2022 as “Meterly”, an ambitious project that Lucas came up with during his 5 years as VP Engineering at Spendesk. There, he encountered the challenges and frustration of integrating a billing system at a company that was scaling fast, trying out multiple billing solutions and even trying to build one, he discovered he was not the only one sharing this pain among software businesses and decided to tackle the problem. This led to the creation of Hyperline, a company driven by three core beliefs: Billing is a crucial aspect of any business and should be easy to manage. Your tech team's focus should be on your product, not on the billing system. Pricing iterations should be seamless and seen as a business opportunity, not a burden. The past 24 months have been crazy. After receiving funding from top-tier European funds, we assembled a stellar team to build a polished product loved by customers-turned-promoters. Hiring a Product Designer

At Hyperline, we are convinced that good product & design are key to win in an highly competitive market. We decided to invest into customer experience from day 1, hiring a product designer as employee #2. As the company is growing as much as the product scope and feature set, we believe the timing is right to hire a second product designer. ALT Thanks to an all-star dev team and lean organisation, we have been building a complex product incredibly fast and will keep on doing so while constantly strengthening its foundations. Mission We’re looking for a “full-stack” product designer ; someone with a wide range of skills who’s able to ensure quality from discovery to delivery : abstract concepts, ideate, design, ensure successful delivery, measure impact and improve. As a product designer, you will.. Conduce UX research to get a deep understanding of our users and their product needs Gain deep knowledge about billing, finance and accounting topics Develop innovative features and workflows to tackle complex problems Work hand-in-hand with the tech team to deliver and improve features Maintain and contribute to our design system Continuously work on enhancing the user experience All of this will be done autonomously, from ideation to completion, as we operate without product managers. We believe in empowering product contributors (designers and developers) with full ownership over features, from scoping and product briefs to QA and delivery. On the day-to-day, the product designer will be responsible for the product’s integrity and correct functioning while taking the lead in planning and prioritising upcoming releases. Side projects on Product Hunt In June 2023, we launched the SaaS Pricing Explorer by Hyperline on Product Hunt. We put all our energy into building a free tool designed to help SaaS businesses find their perfect pricing model. We crunched mountains of data, interviewed dozens of SaaS founders and pricing experts, and analyzed thousands of pricing pages to bring you the ultimate search and monitoring tool. (Spoiler: we hit Product of the Day! 🏆) ALT ——— We went back at it in June 2024, where we launched the Payment Provider Explorer. This tool enables anyone to compare the pricing of the major payment providers around the world, and estimate how much it will cost them based on their payment methods, country of origin and amount billed every year.
