What’s the opportunity?

Are you a talented marketer looking for an exciting opportunity to build modern customer experiences that educate and inspire customers to take action? Are you interested in joining a fun and growing team that’s focused on maximising revenue by building strong customer relationships? If so, the Customer Lifecycle Marketing team could be the perfect fit for you!

From onboarding to expansion to retention, you’ll drive growth across the entire customer journey. You’ll design and launch scaled and targeted campaigns that deliver immediate customer value, while also working seamlessly with other customer touch-points (e.g. in-product, sales and customer education). Through this work, you’ll become an expert at developing growth tactics. You’ll deploy those tactics using modern marketing channels such as chatbots, product tours, banners and in-app messaging, as well as scaling traditional channels such as email.

You’ll also be a major contributor to broader cross-functional strategies and campaigns, working closely with other teams, including Growth, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Management.

What will I be doing?

  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns to drive revenue growth across key stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop and own campaigns to drive adoption, expansion and renewals - running multiple campaigns in parallel.
  • Leverage customer data to effectively segment our customer base to ensure customers get the right message, in the right place, at the right time.
  • Regularly report on your campaign performance, insights and findings, optimize existing campaigns, and propose new high-impact campaigns.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is the name of the game - you’ll be partnering closely with Sales, Growth, Product, Product Marketing and other teams across the business.

What skills do I need?

  • You have 3+ years marketing experience with a focus on personalised marketing channels (email, in-product messaging, SMS and push) and a good understanding of other marketing channels, ideally in B2B.
  • You’re switched-on and inquisitive, with data-driven marketing experience.
  • You’re excellent at stakeholder management. You enjoy being part of a team but you’re also confident working independently.
  • You have a love of the written word - you can create compelling marketing copy that motivates and inspires action.
  • You have a customer first outlook. You live to build relationships and delight customers and drive higher customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • You have experience with marketing tools like Intercom and Marketo, sales tools like Salesforce, and analytics tools like Tableau.
  • You thrive in ambiguous situations and love to build things from scratch.
  • You are a problem solver and love getting in the detail.
  • You’re accountable and driven by results and outcomes.

Bonus skills & attributes

  • You’ve already built scaled customer engagement campaigns in collaboration with Sales teams.
  • You have experience using Intercom’s outbound messaging tools
  • You’ve got lots of experience in existing customer growth - building marketing campaigns to inspire existing customers to expand their usage
