About the role: The Americas Partner Sales Director position is a leadership role that will help define and shape the next stage of Kong’s GTM partner channel. Focus will be on driving incremental revenue via the full partner ecosystem (channel, technology, GSI and Cloud partners). As the AMER PSD, you will lead a team of Partner Sales Managers that will directly impact Kong’s bottom line by driving sourced incremental revenue. What you'll be doing:
- Lead AMER Partner Sales Manager team to meet and ultimately exceed their sales objectives
- Tightly align with Americas VP and Regional Directors on strategy, execution and GTM plans
- Analyze market dynamics to ensure successful partner coverage that supports the Field Sales Team’s initiatives and success
- Responsible for cross functional strategy alignment (marketing, support, CX, etc.)
- Continual review of the GTM strategy to address market and industry changes
What you bring to the team:
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding revenue goals
- Experience driving GTM activities across all partner types (Channel, Tech, Cloud, GSIs)
- Existing relationships with key partners (specifically national VAR/SI such as WWT, Trace3, Slalom, etc.)
- Passion for driving net new, sourced business via the partners
- Successful execution in a multi-task, high velocity environment
- Strong communication skills
