About the role: Within Konnect Analytics, we transform billions of API calls into actionable insights, helping users uncover trends, identify correlations, and solve issues with ease. As a frontend developer on our Analytics team, you’ll help build a key part of our customers’ API toolkit by crafting intuitive data visualizations and interactions that make complex API data accessible and actionable. Collaborating with product, design, and engineering peers, you’ll leverage your expertise in data visualization to create experiences that empower our users to operate, grow, and optimize their APIs. The components and tools you build will form the foundation of analytics within Konnect, extending across teams and shaping the way API data is understood and utilized.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with product and design partners to create and improve experiences for exploring, drilling into, and presenting data.
- Build scalable, responsive UI components using CSS, Vue, and Typescript.
- Lead features from requirement gathering through release.
- Work with engineers to improve the architecture of our frontend application and shared components.
- Write tests (component, regression, smoke) using Cypress, Vitest with great code coverage.
- Support your colleagues by reviewing code and designs.
- Help us to build a world class Analytics experience.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of professional experience with Vue or similar frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience building SaaS Web applications and web developer tools using HTML, CSS, JS.
- Good understanding of data principles and how to create effective, interactive data visualizations.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Can design and build features from limited specification and without day to day input.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, Github Actions.
- Curious and able to learn new systems and languages with short ramp up period.
- Can own projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Bonus Points:
- You’ve worked with large scale, high cardinality data.
- You’ve heavily customized a charting library or worked significantly with D3.
- You’ve worked on a data pipeline.
