The roles:

As the Group Product Manager for Platform, you will lead our Platform teams to develop infrastructure and tools for engineers that provide the foundations for our product. This will include productising common engineering tasks to maximise the speed and consistency of product changes, and future-proofing Linktree by ensuring it is secure, scalable and reliable by default.

Ideally, you’ll have had experience working with Platform, API, Authentication, Security, Developer Enablement or Privacy teams in the past.

Working with our Head of Product Ali, you will play a leading role in developing your Group’s Product Strategy and Roadmap. In the future you will manage Product Managers as well as run your own cross-functional squads (player + coach, not a pure coaching role and starting as more of a Lead PM role until we grow the team further) and use Company OKRs and other prioritisation mechanisms to prioritise effectively.

This role can be fully remote anywhere in Australia or a hybrid in-office/remote structure if you are in Melbourne or Sydney and we also have roles coming up in the USA.

As a Group Product Manager you will:

  • Break down the different problems the Group could solve and prioritise these using effective prioritisation frameworks
  • Identify stakeholders, establish trust with them and understand their needs and work together to factor these into priorities
  • Be the ‘go-to’ person for the Group and communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally
  • Develop Product Managers as a mentor/player-coach in the future
  • Establish Group measures of success and review these frequently to learn and evolve the product
  • Identify product areas that will require high levels of product discovery and ensure these are commenced at the right time to enable timely delivery
  • Use tools like Product Board, Notion, Looker, Heap and Miro on a daily basis

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • A background in end to end Product Management, ideally for B2C SaaS products
  • Experience at Senior, Lead or Group Product Manager level with experience managing PMs and multiple teams
  • Demonstrated experience in developing product strategy, roadmaps and measurements of success
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to communicate technical topics to both technical and non technical stakeholders
