We are looking for a Junior People Partner who is passionate about high quality people experiences, influencing employee engagement and driving a high performance culture. We have an employee consumer focus by designing and building people products that our employees want to interact with, and which also delivers business results. We have a strong people team foundation, and yet, still early in our quest to build scalable, high quality people experiences, of which you will be integral to our future.

The role will involve business partnering predominately with the Manufacturing and Operations teams based in Dagenham, UK  as well as general People support to the wider UK and US employees.  The role will report directly to the People Partner who is based in the US whilst supporting a People Partner who is based in the UK. This  role will be classified as a hybrid role with the expectation that they are on-site in the Dagenham, UK office about twice a week.


  • Alongside the People Partners, partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Customer Service Managers and teams to identify and communicate back to the People Team, priorities based on business needs
  • Support on partnering initiatives and projects, keeping in mind a global focus
  • Build strong credible relationships at all levels. Our businesses are huge advocates of the People Team and this role would need to immerse itself in getting to know MOOsters
  • Manage HR and Employee Relations issues throughout the identified partnering areas within the organization, for example, absence management and performance cases
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of UK legal requirements and handle employee relations situations as needed.  Be an impartial ambassador that balances both the employee and the business in line with our company values
  • Provide advice and assistance to managers on policies, procedures, legislation, and best practice
  • ​​Assist with MOOster inquiries that range across topics such as HR policies, benefits, onboarding, employment verifications etc
  • Conduct exit interviews with employees based in our Dagenham warehouse, ensuring a smooth offboarding for employees and assist HR Operations in analyzing quarterly exit trends related to attrition
  • Support the execution of the broader People Strategy within your client groups, alongside the People Partners
  • Work with the business to develop a high performance culture and embed our MOO values. One of our key objectives in Operations and across MOO is evolving our culture and this role will be a key partner in supporting this change
  • Support with the execution on cyclical employee experiences (i.e upskilling managers, performance, development, career pathways, annual performance and compensations cycles etc)
  • Support People Operations to build reports to identify key people metrics i.e attendance and assist in developing plans around these
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Team, understand the business’s hiring requirements and at times support recruitment campaigns to source new talent or develop existing talent at MOO
  • Manage the COVID processes in place at our Dagenham warehouse, continuing to monitor compliance and suggest process improvements
