ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to join our Analytics team. You will own complex analytical work streams with significant autonomy and serve as the subject matter expert in supporting the marketing and commercial teams to answer questions linked to marketing and business performance as well as customer behaviour.

Beyond strong SQL, Python, statistical, and modelling skills, you will be an accomplished practitioner of AI-augmented analytical approaches.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Lead complex end-to-end analytical projects with a high degree of autonomy across the marketing and commercial teams

  • Design and analyse incrementality experiments for the marketing teams; build statistical models as needed

  • Support on projects to improve knowledge of marketing return on investment such as marketing mix modelling (MMM) and brand impact measurement

  • Improve understanding of customer behaviour through the sales funnel from both the seller and dealer perspectives

  • Deliver presentations of analysis to senior stakeholders

  • Help manage attribution frameworks and advise on how these blend with the MMM and incrementality testing framework

  • Utilise AI effectively to automate workflows for both your own team and stakeholders deploying agents as needed

  • Stay current with AI and data trends; share relevant innovations and best practice with the team

AI & MODERN TOOLING - WHAT WE EXPECT

You will be an active practitioner of AI-augmented analytics. You will know where best to use LLM tools for analysis and coding applications as well as necessary safeguards to ensure strong analytical rigour. You will keep in touch with developments and spot areas for AI advancement in analytical workflows together with teaching others on best practice.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Background in marketing analytics

5+ years working in marketing and customer analytics

Strong SQL & Python

Expert-level SQL; proficient Python for modelling, statistical analysis and automation

AI practitioner

Strong working knowledge of AI tools and ability to share best practice. Knowledge of Claude Desktop Code ideal but not essential

Experimentation design

Confident designing A/B tests, advising on methodology, and explaining results to senior stakeholders

Advanced analytics

Experience with predictive modelling, causal inference, and statistical techniques beyond basic A/B testing

Business acumen

Ability to connect analytical work to business outcomes and champions use of data-led decision making

Stakeholder influence

Confident communicator; constructs compelling data narratives for senior audiences

dbt / BigQuery

Working knowledge of dbt and BigQuery ideal, but not essential
