Requirements

Salary: £34,000 - 40,000 + benefits + equity

We are looking for an accomplished, creative and entrepreneurial Community Engagement Executive to support the design and delivery of a world-class experience for our growing community of apprentice alumni. Whilst this role focuses on alumni we’re looking for people who have worked in community building, volunteer management or the self-development and career space. Roles you might have held include Volunteer Manager, Student Experience Officer or Community Outreach Coordinator for example.

The alumni experience at Multiverse is designed to:

  • Ensure alumni define and achieve success soon after their apprenticeship
  • Create passionate and vocal advocates of Multiverse and apprenticeships; helping to change societal perceptions of apprenticeships
  • Encourage the uptake of additional apprenticeships and professional development opportunities as part of a journey of lifelong learning with us

You’ll contribute to and deliver the alumni engagement strategy with the aim of building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with alumni through the delivery of targeted events, content and volunteering programmes.

You’ll identify and build alumni relationships to achieve lifelong value for the Multiverse community and work closely with the Events, Outreach and Programmes teams to contribute to the development and delivery of Multiverse alumni relations strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of a high quality alumni experience, both offline and online, as evidenced by metrics that you’ll help to collect and evaluate
  • Listen to the apprentice alumni community to understand their wants, needs and assess their satisfaction with the alumni experience
  • Develop and coordinate programs and projects that are designed to foster alumni engagement and success
  • Continuously assess the impact and ROI of alumni efforts, in support of developing priorities for future initiatives
  • Support the Alumni Success Manager to ensure that the alumni voice is represented and considered in company planning
  • Serve as an initial point-of-contact for Multiverse alumni
  • Maintain strong relationships with our alumni community and managing a portfolio of emerging and established alumni leaders
  • Support the design and execution of communications to support, inform and engage the alumni community

The right candidate will have:

  • 3 years+ relevant experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting with strong relationship management and programme management responsibilities
  • Skills to be an exceptional relationship builder, communicator and have strong project management skills
  • A creative approach to problem solving at scale
  • An analytical mindset and comfort with using data to inform decisions
  • Experience successfully listening to a community through user research
  • Experience of delivering high-quality events, programmes or communications within a wider strategic framework
  • Experience of, and demonstrable success in, recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively - this role will work closely with individuals across the business and the right candidate will be experienced and comfortable collaborating in remote and in-person environments
  • An analytical and strategic mindset - always looking for ways to learn and improve
  • An appetite for work & bias for action - we are a relatively small team with big ambitions
