Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager – Release and Enablement to join our Product Operations team.

This is a unique, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of structured project/program management and product enablement — bringing together two disciplines that are critical to how we run product release cycles, communicate change to stakeholders, and scale the learning content and certification programs that support them.

You will act as the operational backbone for our product portfolio, ensuring that product releases run smoothly, stakeholders are informed in real time, and our learning and communication assets are published, maintained, and continuously improving. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Technical Services, and Marketing teams, as well as external vendors, to keep product releases on track and our enablement content best-in-class.

This role is ideal for a seasoned PMO or project management professional who moves comfortably between tracking release schedules and portfolio dashboards, and coordinating learning content and customer communications — someone who brings strong organization skills, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership to everything they touch.

Responsibilities

Product releases coordination:

  • Maintain release timelines, dependencies, and resource allocations across the product portfolio, tracking actuals against baselines for scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage product releases in the appropriate information system and ensure data integrity and completeness across all active release plans.
  • Ensure consistency in product portfolio reporting; produce regular status updates for stakeholders through dashboards, charts, and presentations.
  • Track progress across product release projects; flag risks and issues proactively.
  • Handle documentation and stakeholder communication throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Maintain operational dashboards covering learner engagement, content feedback, completion metrics, and project KPIs.

Change & risk management:

  • Evaluate proposed changes to the release schedule before proposing them for approval by following established change control processes.
  • Act as the go-to point of contact when stakeholders change requirements or priorities, ensuring teams can adapt quickly and without losing control of delivery.
  • Maintain a change log and communicate approved decisions clearly to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure change control processes are consistently followed and continuously improved across all projects.
  • Use data visualization tools to provide real-time insights into release process health and performance trends.
  • Track operational goals and recommend improvements based on trend analysis and stakeholder feedback.

Customer and stakeholder communications:

  • Coordinate the creation, publication, and maintenance of release-related communications across multiple product editions and release streams.
  • Maintain supporting documentation including known issues, administrator guidance, maintenance windows, and compatibility matrices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Documentation teams to gather accurate release information and communicate changes effectively.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across learning, documentation, and customer communication channels.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for learning, documentation, and project support requests across the organization.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests from ticketing systems, support channels, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive timely resolution of issues through collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Learning content operations:

  • Administer learning technologies, including the LMS and certification platforms.
  • Manage the end-to-end publication of new training content, including courses, exams, learning paths, and certifications.
  • Coordinate updates to existing learning assets and ensure changes are reflected accurately across all learning platforms.
  • Maintain learning catalogs, homepage layouts, and content discoverability within the learning portal.
  • Coordinate localization of learning content, certifications, and portal pages with internal stakeholders and external translation vendors.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and vendor relationships; monitor system integrations and data synchronisation processes.
  • Review and approve platform configuration changes; support platform enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all content publication follows established governance, quality, and release processes.

Qualifications

Project & release management:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, PMO and/or learning coordination roles, ideally within a software/SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Proven experience managing release schedules, dependencies, and risks — identifying issues early and escalating without losing delivery momentum.
  • Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how release management fits within it, or experience with learning/education project management.

Tools & technology:

  • Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Aha) and data visualization/dashboarding tools (Power BI, Excel) to report on release health and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of LMS and certification system administration, including platform configurations, user access, and integrations.
  • Experience with ticketing/support systems (Zendesk) for managing incoming requests.

Collaboration & stakeholder management:

  • Business-level fluency in English; strong writing and structuring skills for status reports, release notes, and stakeholder updates.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and coordinate across Product, Engineering, Technical Services, Marketing, and external vendors.
  • Comfortable acting as the central point of coordination across multiple teams and workstreams, especially when priorities shift.

AI & automation:

  • Proficiency using AI tools and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate documentation, reporting, and status/release communications.
  • Ability to design effective prompts and AI-assisted workflows to streamline repetitive project and communication work.
  • Genuine curiosity and adaptability in adopting new AI tools as they emerge.

Quality & organization:

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency across documentation, communications, and platform content.
  • Commitment to following and improving established processes, quality, and standards.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities without sacrificing quality.
