On top of our brilliant Partners, products and customers (not to mention our incredible team who have been busy beavering away from home since March), the last 12 months has seen  great progress with our tech platform and customer experience. We are now looking to build on this momentum to drive our business to the next level. And that’s where you come in.

The role:

The ideal Product Manager for this role will have a passion for e-commerce and marketplaces, and a desire to identify, measure, and solve user pain points with creative solutions, and an unrelenting enthusiasm for implementing user-focused features that drive customer acquisition, loyalty and bottom line growth.

You’ll work with designers, software developers, data analysts, machine learning, content creators and stakeholders from across Not On The High Street to build solutions that make the discovery of unique and original artisanal items/ gifts easy, intuitive and fun for the NOTHS user. You’ll also help push towards a modern, flexible personalization platform that can be leveraged across the NOTHS ecosystem.

As a part of the team, you’ll be surrounded by passionate, and fun colleagues who are all avidly working together to create a delightful and intuitive experience. And you will take specific responsibility for helping everybody understand the business goals (OKRs) and how you can work together to  deliver value against these outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning and championing the OKRs for your product.
  • Setting ambitious growth and performance targets, embedding data-informed ways of working across your team.
  • Building strong, empathetic stakeholder relationships to thoroughly understand requirements, translating into roadmap items.
  • Prioritising effectively across the competing needs of your feature roadmap, UX improvements and your stakeholders.
  • Defining requirements, writing user stories, acceptance criteria and owning the product improvements throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Supporting the team through effective ceremonies, team engagement and collaboration, optimising for a balance between measurable impact, pace and quality.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods, as well as reasonable development schedules.
  • Be a key contributor to the Product function at NOTHS, collaborating with your teammates to help us grow the function, develop new and better ways of working, and ensure we set the highest bar across the team.
  • Some key skills and experience you’ll need...
  • Experience as a Product Owner/Manager working directly with onsite, agile engineering teams.
  • Demonstrable success driving impactful product improvements in a B2C eCommerce environment.
  • Natural empathy and customer centric approach - including hands on customer research and lean + agile experimentation.
  • Experience in defining, tracking and working towards your product’s OKRs
  • Comfortable communicating product rationale and progress to senior stakeholders.

We endeavor to support our people to make sure work….well, works for them. And the pretty big issue of the recent global pandemic has propelled us into working more flexibly than ever before. With the office reopening in September (YAY!), we’re using the lessons learnt over this period to evolve our approach to flexible working, and we’ve introduced a hybrid working week. So the NOTHS team get to work flexibly for the majority of the week and visit beautiful Richmond once or twice a week to ensure we all still get together as one #teamnoths. Plus, as of 2022 we’ll begin trialing fully remote months in January (to avoid the snow) and August (to enjoy the sun).
