Solutions Engineering will be responsible for demonstrating to prospective customers how Nova Credit’s solutions will address their business needs. In addition to partnering closely with Account Executives, the Solutions Engineer will also interface with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing. The Solutions Engineer is a highly visible technical and product expert in the pre-sales process, and a primary driver for internal advancement of customer requirements.

Within the first month, you’ll

  • Establish conceptual understanding of full Nova Credit tech stack
  • Understand current state of front-end and back-end implementation options
  • Create first pre-sales custom demos for key opportunities
  • Understand and take ownership over existing collateral/assets and processes, including demos, product marketing, and Technical Implementation Workshop structure

Within the first quarter, you’ll

  • Master the art of identifying customer needs by applying your superior technology savvy to ask insightful questions that get to the root of the problem of prospect counterparts and taking the time to explore all options and alternatives
  • Support Account Executives by advancing technical dimensions of deal process
  • Rally all technical parties around goals and priorities
  • Drive persuasive product presentations and technical workshop

Within the first year, you’ll

  • Support Account Executives on full complement of opportunities autonomously
  • Articulate and prioritize customer needs internally, and advocate for them across internal stakeholders to ultimately support prioritization
  • Establish internal credibility and trust with key cross-functional counterparts in Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering

Your skillset

  • 3+ years of sales engineer experience
  • A background that combines business experience and technical acumen
  • Strong communications skills with a confident and proactive approach to customer management
  • Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of web services, APIs, and related standards such as HTTP and REST, and familiarity debugging these protocols
  • Enterprise customer-facing experience and a strong sense of customer empathy
