Senior Software Engineer IV (Python/Go)

OpenX is seeking passionate and driven software engineers to join our Data Science Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data scientists to seamlessly integrate machine learning solutions into broader system architectures. You will design and develop code to support A/B testing, facilitate communication with ML models, and ensure robust monitoring of production systems. Your work will focus on transforming experimental prototypes into scalable, production-grade solutions with clean interfaces and optimized performance. Key responsibilities:

• Design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems
• Architect, create, and deliver new features and functionality
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design, and implement experiments
• Analyse and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes
• Think long-term and be unsatisfied with band-aids
• Identify unnecessary complexity and remove it
• Own and lead the technical layer of the project

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with backend languages like Python OR Golang, and some openness for Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
• Excellent communication in written and spoken English.

Desired Characteristics:

• Previously has worked on or with Data Science teams
• Experience with A/B testing
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
