About this role

You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities from a broader finance perspective, you will support the development of our equity story, engage with senior leaders and teams across the business. You’ll help embed it across the business by living the strategy, creating engagement with various teams.

Role responsibilities

  • Working closely with the CFO and exec team to support strategic initiatives including corporate development, Investor relations.
  • Lead the preparation of materials for Board, external investors, fundraising
  • Supporting the collection of market intelligence and competitor analysis, closely tracking competitors’ behaviour, their potential responses to our strategic moves and their sources of competitive advantage
  • Contributing to ad-hoc projects, initiatives and feasibility studies

Experience, knowledge & skills

  • Proven strategy experience gained in a top tier strategy consulting firm or banking or through ownership of in-house strategy work, working with fast-paced, consumer-facing businesses
  • Strong strategic, analytical and operational skills, combined with best-in-class execution and delivery
  • Demonstrated experience of independent workstream management including owning end to end project and process management and managing cross functional stakeholder relationships at a range of levels
  • Experience in developing content for and presenting to Exec and Board level
  • Exceptional commercial awareness and judgement
  • Excellent understanding of what drives commercial value, and how to use data to assess commercial performance
  • Superb analytical skills (we live, breathe and sleep data) and a desire to spot, break down and resolve problems
  • Desire to work in a scale-up environment. We’re growing quickly, which means lots of opportunities and also regular change
