Right now, lots of fashion stays unsold. For the resources that went in and for the people who miss out, it’s such a shame. We’re here to fix this. We are an online fashion outlet marketplace and we tech-enable designer brands to find an owner for every item they produce.

We give brands an online outlet channel and digital tools to smartly connect dynamically-priced end-of-season collections with fashion-lovers. Then we give them the data so they can reproduce most-wanted items.

Our app re-imagines outlet shopping helping customers easily find reduced-price gems. We give end-of-season fashion a new start, which is smarter for the wardrobe, smarter for the wallet and smarter for the industry.

About the role

Otrium is growing quickly. We have expanded into a number of countries across Europe and into the US. We are looking for an experienced and proactive part time community manager to join our team. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, with experience in growing and engaging social media communities, we’d love to hear from you.

As social media manager, you will own our consumer-facing social media channels - primarily Instagram and Facebook - looking for ways to engage and grow our community.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional verbal and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ and an ‘ideas person’ with the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community if necessary. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the voice of our brand and manage all customer-facing community communications.

Role responsibilities

  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing, brand, partner and communication strategies;
  • Develop creative and engaging social media strategies;
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels;
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Loomly;
  • Create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms;
  • Create campaigns from existing content, promotions, interactions and influencer collaborations;
  • Organize and lead moments to build community and boost brand awareness;
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights;
  • Ensure brand consistency with excellent English (Dutch, French, German helpful, not essential);
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure all opportunities are maximized;
  • Build relationships with our community, whether they be customers, potential customers, industry professionals and/or journalists.

Experience, knowledge & skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Advertising;
  • A proven track record of relevant working experience with social media management for brands;
  • Past experience as Content & Community Manager;
  • Experience in understanding and bringing to life brand tone of voice and storytelling through social media;
  • Running social media and brand initiatives end-to-end;
  • Experience working with influencers and running promotions;
  • Desire to deliver campaigns without need for close management and with meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to identify and track relevant metrics;
  • Flawless verbal and written communication skills;
  • Able to report and analysis campaign performance;
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask;
  • Experience in a start-up, scale-up or hyper growth environment;
  • Problem-solving skills.
