About Cyera

Come join the company building the security operating model for the age of AI. AI has changed how data is used — and security must change with it. Cyera's mission is to empower businesses to accelerate AI Adoption by defining a holistic approach to securing AI - from data to access to model. Instead of perimeter controls and static policies, Cyera provides a unified control plane that understands relationships between data, access, and behaviors across humans, systems, and AI. Backed by the world’s leading investors and working with a large and growing list of Fortune 1000 companies, we are looking for world-class talent to join us as we usher in the new era of data and AI security.

About the Role

We’re hiring a QA Automation Infrastructure Engineer to help build and maintain Cyera’s core automation infrastructure.

In this role, you’ll develop the shared frameworks, tools, libraries, CI/CD integrations, reporting capabilities, and self-service solutions that enable QA engineers and developers to create, run, debug, monitor, and maintain automated tests efficiently.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable automation infrastructure that supports quality across R&D.

What you’ll do

  • Design, implement, and maintain shared QA automation infrastructure.
  • Build frameworks, libraries, utilities, and internal tools for automation at scale.
  • Enable self-service testing for developers and QA engineers.
  • Support component, integration, system, API, backend, frontend, and E2E testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Improve test execution reliability, scalability, performance, and debugging experience.
  • Build reporting, dashboards, and monitoring capabilities for automation KPIs and quality trends.
  • Troubleshoot automation framework issues, flaky tests, infrastructure failures, and CI/CD pipeline problems.
  • Collaborate closely with QA Architects, QA Automation Developers, developers, DevOps, and QA leadership.
  • Contribute to documentation, best practices, templates, and training materials.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience in TypeScript and/or Python.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including deep language understanding, clean code practices, and the ability to design maintainable, scalable solutions.
  • Proven experience building automation infrastructure at scale, including frameworks, shared libraries, internal tools, and self-service platforms used by dozens to hundreds of engineers and QA users across multiple teams and products.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Pytest, Cypress, Selenium, or similar technologies.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of test execution, debugging, reporting, failure analysis, automation reliability, and flaky test investigation.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, or scalable test execution environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate complex automation, infrastructure, and pipeline issues.
  • Passionate about AI and actively explores new ways to apply AI tools to improve productivity, quality, debugging, and QA efficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience with test optimization, stabilization, parallelization, and failures tracking.
  • Experience building dashboards, automation KPIs, reporting tools, or quality visibility systems.
  • Experience with microservices, Kafka, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures.
  • Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, data, cloud-native, or enterprise software environments.
