About the Role As Persona works on an exciting suite of products, we are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help amplify Persona’s brand and drive engagement through content across all stages of the buyer journey. You will create and leverage various content formats to build thought leadership, generate awareness, and bring Persona’s identity to life. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will work closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to grow Persona’s content program and play a key role in supporting both customers and prospects with resources and education. Through blogs, whitepapers, and other forms of content, you will help drive awareness and inbound traffic, nurture leads through the funnel, and generate product engagement across the customer lifecycle. As our ideal candidate, you are passionate about writing and enjoy distilling technical concepts into clear and engaging written materials. You are collaborative, creative, and customer-obsessed but grounded in data. You are a storyteller and can synthesize insights from internal teams and market intelligence to create compelling content.
What you'll achieve
- Support Persona’s multi-channel content strategy by writing blogs, ebooks, newsletters, and whitepapers as the primary mediums to start, with the opportunity to expand into other formats
- Add content that aligns with new product launches, marketing campaigns, industry trends, and current events. Manage content production from start to finish
- Translate and synthesize messaging from Product into accurate, compelling, and tailored content based on buyer personas.
- Work closely with SEO experts to grow keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversions
- Feature Persona’s unique platform value and expertise to help drive growth and adoption across all product lines
- Assist with editing and copywriting
- Monitor competitors’ blogs, social channels, and content to keep tabs on industry trends and other market developments
What you'll bring to Persona
- Proven ability to write and edit high-quality and engaging long-form content that simplifies complex ideas
- Enthusiastic about conducting research and interviews, with the ability to use gathered insights to write detailed, in-depth pieces
- Passion for long-form content
- Experience working with subject matter experts to gather source material and technical expertise
- Track record managing and keeping multiple projects on track
- Extremely detail-oriented — you love consistency and ensuring each piece of content adheres to internal style guides
- Inherent desire to ensure content is as clear and helpful as possible — you’re not afraid to ask questions to elevate the material or suggest opportunities to improve
- You have high standards and care about publishing quality content regardless of whether you’re the writer or the editor
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and demonstrated success driving traffic through SEO is a plus
- Self-motivated, resourceful, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
