About the Role Persona is working on an exciting suite of products, and we are looking for an Event Marketer to support and expand Persona’s events strategy. You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to grow brand awareness, generate demand, and engage with both prospects and customers through various in-person and virtual events. This role will have a direct impact on Persona’s long-term growth goals and work with various teams, including, but not limited to, Sales, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Customer Success to grow brand awareness and generate pipelines. What you'll achieve

  • Drive and align with key stakeholders across Sales and Demand Generation on event strategies, with a focus on (but not limited to) trade shows
  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of events. This includes strategic planning, event marketing, budget, logistics, communication, event tech, gifting, execution, and conducting post event analysis/ROI
  • Set events KPI, monitor performance, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize future event strategies with a focus on driving pipeline growth
  • Work closely with Content and Demand Generation on marketing campaigns to help drive sales goals and deal acceleration via events
  • Build processes for repeatability and scalability of events activities. Drive and deliver best practices and process improvement documents
  • Partner with customer-facing teams and work with champions, user, and partner groups to host ancillary and support events around our trade show strategy
  • Support events team on ad-hoc projects, including both internal and external events
  • Stay informed on industry research and trends to explore and test new event opportunities

What you'll bring to Persona

  • 4+ years of events marketing experience, preferably within B2B SaaS
  • Proven success executing large trade shows, including booth creation/design, staff planning, onsite management, budgeting, and post-event follow up
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized and proactive approach to troubleshooting
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, results-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Marketo and SFDC is a plus
  • Ability to travel ~40%-50% of the time
Compensation & Equity For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $120,000 - $150,000. Base salaries are just one component of the total compensation package and are determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications and more.
