We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam. As the Event Marketing Manager at Plaid, you will spearhead the planning, development, and execution of marketing programs and events that bring our vision to life. You’ll be a key member of the team who plans our flagship customer conference, Effects, and lead the subsequent roadshow series across North America. You will work at the intersection of sales, marketing, and customer success, ensuring all programs align with Plaid’s broader goals of driving awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales and customer growth efforts. In this role, you’ll develop and implement corporate event marketing strategies to boost account expansion, build strong customer relationships, and accelerate sales pipelines. You will manage every aspect of event logistics and promotion while analyzing performance to continuously improve and scale our events programs.

- Managing end-to-end programs: From ideation to post-event reporting, you enjoy overseeing every detail—venue selection, budgeting, promotions, and ensuring top-notch attendee experiences. You also love digging into the data post event to find ways to make the event even better in the future
- Collaborating cross-functionally: You thrive when working with many cross-functional partners including sales, product marketing, content, brand and other teams to ensure alignment in marketing initiatives and objectives.
- Maximizing impact through data: You love analyzing metrics, establishing KPIs, and proving the ROI of marketing initiatives to senior management.
- Building strong partnerships: You enjoy working with event vendors, agencies, and partners to optimize and scale event delivery and impact.
