We’re looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Link team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and craft innovative solutions that enhance the bank linking experience for both consumers and customers. You’ll lead the design of 0-1 direct-to-consumer products while iterating on existing experiences, ensuring that every solution meets the highest standards of visual and interaction design excellence At Plaid, we are committed to delivering an industry-leading bank linking experience that supports a wide range of Plaid’s customer use cases, from Credit to Payments. By leveraging our expansive network and prioritizing a best-in-class UX, we ensure consumers enjoy a seamless, high-converting experience that drives results for customers. The design team at Plaid is made up of product designers, researchers, and content strategists who work with our cross-functional partners to create Plaid’s products.
Responsibilities
- Shipping delightful and easy-to-use experiences for consumers on mobile (including iOS or Android) and desktop
- Closely collaborating with engineers and product managers, from planning through execution
- Being a tireless advocate for the users and user-centered processes
- Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect prototypes with delightful interactions
- Ability to develop insights into consumer behavior from both qualitative and quantitative information
- Joining a team of experienced designers and contributing to our design culture through collaboration, presenting work, and sharing feedback
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in creating and shipping quality digital products
- Producing high-quality work from wireframes and user flows to pixel perfect prototypes with delightful interactions
- Strong verbal and visual presentation skills, as well as an articulate point of view about design
- Proven record of collaboration to support and influence the team’s direction, vision, and planning of deliverables and an ability to tie designs to business needs, goals, and metrics
- Having a divergent exploratory process with the ability to communicate trade-offs
