Plaid is seeking an experienced leader to manage and optimize our enterprise application ecosystem, including ERP, Procurement systems, Time and Expense systems, Quote-to-cash ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will guide the development, implementation, and ongoing management of critical business systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute the long-term vision for Plaid's enterprise financial applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Oversee the execution of systems development and integration projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Manage and mentor a team of internal and external technology professionals, fostering skills development in business analysis, solution design, and system management.
  • Engage with key business units and peer organizations to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure solutions align with business goals.
  • Lead decision-making for systems architecture, tool selection, and technical solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and modern technology trends.
  • Ensure systems meet performance benchmarks, comply with regulatory requirements, and contribute to a seamless user experience.
  • Promote innovation and efficiency by driving system enhancements and leveraging feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Support Plaid's compliance with SOX requirements and lead efforts related to IPO readiness, ensuring that financial systems and processes align with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or business applications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing customer-facing and/or back office applicationsIndustry
  • Deep understanding of the software industry, including current trends and technologies.
  • Capacity to get hands dirty with basic scripting, programming, integrations, or administration.
  • Specific experience working with companies with a large partner ecosystem
  • Proven proficiency in eliciting business requirements, preparing functional designs, documenting and re-engineering business processes
  • Strong background in CRM software (Salesforce, Marketo, Xactly, NetSuite), and customer engagement platforms, and/or ERP software (Oracle, Workday, NetSuite)
