We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo and SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 11,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Salt Lake City, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Technical Program Manager to help us identify, design, and manage the processes (and associated tools) that enable engineers to make their greatest impact. You’ll ensure that we have the right frameworks to evaluate our organizational health and operational excellence in areas such as team organization, technical health, and portfolio management.

You’ll collaborate closely with peers in Program Management and partners in Product, Engineering, Business Operations, and Finance on a variety of programs in service of improving our ability to make data-driven decisions. As one of your first programs, you’ll ensure we have the right KPIs in place to measure our technical debt over time and that teams feel empowered to own the health of their KPIs. You’ll also work with third-party vendors like Jira, Pager Duty, and Slack to ensure we’re optimizing tool usage and drawing out the insights based on our usage.

As one of our early Technical Program Managers, you’ll be called upon to roll up your sleeves, handle multiple competing priorities, quickly tease through complexity, and deploy the right operational tactics to solve the problem at hand. As part of this role, you’ll join EPDS Operations, an interdisciplinary team of program managers tasked with delivering best-in-class systems and processes that enable efficient execution of Plaid’s strategy.
