We’re looking for experienced UI Engineer to join our dedicated design system team! We are cross-functional team on a mission to scale Productboard by building accessible library of components and patterns and defining best practices in UI development.

Your mission

  • Develop reusable, responsive, accessible components using React.
  • Collaborate with others to improve the core user experience through our design system.
  • Document and communicate how new components behave so that designers, engineers, and product managers get the most out of our design system.
  • Measure the success of proposed and existing patterns.
  • Evangelize design system adoption across the organization.
  • Help improve a governance model for code contributions from other teams.

About you

  • 2+ years of experience in React and Typescript.
  • Experienced in component-driven development and/or design systems.
  • You have an eye for detail and an affinity with design.
  • Bonus if you have a knowledge of WCAG guidelines and how to implement them.
  • The initiative to fix something that’s broken, rather than waiting for someone else to do it.
  • Experience mentoring and helping teammates, doing code reviews and pair-programming.
  • Experience with Figma and Figma API is a bonus.
