The Head of Content is responsible for overseeing all content creation and strategy across the company, with a particular focus on editorial finance content, advertising copy, and UX copywriting. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial topics, a strong background in content marketing, and the ability to lead and inspire a team of writers and editors. They will ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand tone of voice, meets business goals, and engages target audiences across all platforms.
This role is fundamental to help scaling our business in an effective and efficient manner, driving engagement of prospects and existing customers. It will be reporting directly to the CMO and leading an already strong team with the perspective to grow it further. Your Responsibilities Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy across the complete customer lifecycle that aligns with business objectives and enhances the company's brand perception.
- Lead the creation of editorial finance content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
- Collaborate with other marketing teams to create compelling advertising copy that drives customer acquisition and engagement.
- Oversee UX copywriting efforts, ensuring that all digital interfaces offer a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Lead a team of content managers and editors to produce high-quality content, including static content, articles, reports, and newsletters.
- Use all means of content to transport the message, including copy, infographics, illustrations and videos
- Ensure content is informative, engaging, and tailored for affluent and educated B2C audiences.
- Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and economic news to ensure content remains current and authoritative.
- Manage the editorial calendar, balancing short-term needs with long-term content projects.
- Develop and refine messaging for advertising campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure copy and visuals align, creating cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Ensure all advertising copy adheres to brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the creation of clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for websites, apps, and other digital products.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and developers to ensure copy enhances the overall user experience and drives desired actions.
- Ensure maintenance of a consistent tone of voice across all digital touch points.
- Leverage AI to increase productivity and quality
- Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of content across different platforms.
- Regularly review content performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize content strategy.
- Report on content performance, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of content managers, editors and copywriters.
- Establish state-of-the-art workflows, taking benefit of AI
- Provide ongoing mentorship and professional development opportunities to help team members grow their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovation and the sharing of ideas.
- Set and monitor team performance goals, ensuring that content projects are delivered on time and in quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in content creation, with a significant focus on editorial finance content.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies in a digital corporate or agency environment.
- Experience leading and developing a team of content professionals.
- Strong understanding of financial products, services, and regulations.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
