- Lead the financial modelng and forecasting efforts to ensure accurate and insightful projections for our UK Subsidiary's financial performance.
- Develop and oversee the annual budget for the UK subgroup, aligning financial objectives with business goals.
- Create comprehensive cash flow plans considering regulatory liquidity requirements and internal key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare monthly management reports, highlighting financial and business KPIs, to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare financial information for the purpose of FCA regulatory returns.
- Head the Accounting Department, ensuring compliance with local as well as group internal guidelines on control policies.
- Take charge of the preparation of annual accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to relevant accounting standards.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the company and financial auditors during audit-related processes.
- Manage the financial audit process onsite in alignment with the Group's Accounting guidelines, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage the relationship with relevant key professional advisors (e.g. auditors, bank, tax advisors).
- Act as a sparring partner for the CEO, evaluating business ideas by providing calculations on project-specific profit margin analysis, recommendations, and insights.
- Hold a university degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA are highly desirable.
- Possess 5-8 years of experience in a similar position and/or in the audit sector, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial management principles.
- Exhibit a hands-on mentality, showing a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Demonstrate team-building and managerial experience, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Display excellent presentation and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Showcase experience in working with or within multinational companies, navigating complex organizational structures and global finance operations.
- Possess an affinity for the digital industry, staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies.
