Raisin UK is the UK operation of Raisin DS GmbH (raisin.com). A trailblazer for open banking  and the leading pan-European one-stop-shop for online savings and investments. We are a small team of 34, usually based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, but now hybrid working operating a minimum or two days a week in the office and remotely at home.Over the past 4 years the UK team have built a client portfolio of over 20 partner banks and building societies, helping them to raise savings and acquire new customers. We do this through a combination of customer acquisition technology together with proven online product marketing and distribution. As Raisin UK we have helped our partners raise over £1 billion of new deposits and have on-boarded over 50,000 new consumers through our platforms.

Following the acquisition by Raisin DS GmbH, we have the financial backing and remit to substantially grow our operations across the UK thus allowing us to build upon Raisin’s reputation as the leading marketplace for savings and investments throughout Europe.

Your responsibilities

Job Purpose

As Customer Marketing Manager, you will manage our customer retention and reactivation strategy and drive additional product take up. You will be passionate about getting the most from our data and technology and how we use these to define, develop and successfully deliver a contact strategy that supports customers through all stages of the customer lifecycle.

Based within the UK Marketing Team in Manchester, and working closely with our Berlin based CRM Team, you will work on the development, execution and continuous refinement of marketing campaigns to existing Raisin UK customers across our CRM channels. Audience segmentation strategy and relationship-building programs will be a key day-to-day focus, as well as helping shape and drive any future loyalty program.

Everything you deliver will have a focus on how we build connections with our customers and how we maintain these, driven by insights and supported by a strong creative and communications.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be an individual with an analytical mindset, fantastic writing skills, excellent organisational skills, and an inquisitive mind. We’re a high growth fintech business, so the ability to work on multiple projects and relationships concurrently is key.

Key responsibilities

  • Increase customer product take up and activation of registered customers
  • Identify new opportunities that will support key segments, monitoring existing campaign automations and looking for opportunities to optimise
  • Conceptualise and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, with a key emphasis on retention strategy
  • Designing and implementing a customer advocacy programme to promote business visibility and increase customer loyalty.
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budget
  • Create strong and compelling content and have a good eye for detail when proofreading collateral for both online and offline communications
  • Report and manage the performance of campaigns and marketing activity and make recommendations to further develop our approach and continually improve ROI.
  • Thoroughly understand our key products and their offerings, customer profiles and unique selling points and be able to clearly articulate with our audiences.

Your profile

Essential skills and requirements

  • At least 3 year experience working within CRM, customer or campaign marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant marketing qualifications
  • High resilience & positive attitude – able to build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a cross-functional team based in the UK and remotely in Germany
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and experience writing customer facing communications
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask and deliver simultaneous projects on time
  • Problem solver & solution-based standout colleague who can deal with ambiguity & adapt quickly
  • Must have a right to work in the UK

Desirable but not essential

  • Experience using an email service provider, e.g. Bloomreach or similar
  • Experience with analytics tools and proven track record of leveraging customer data and insights to create commercial marketing opportunities
  • A team player who can work on their own but also enjoys working as part of a team
  • Have a robust understanding of both online and offline marketing communication disciplines
  • Financial services experience
