Your daily tasks will be:
- You perform the software engineer tasks with great attention to quality, and support other engineers in your team to do the same.
- You do strong code reviews, ensuring not only best practices and business rules, but also performance, security, impact on other features or projects, and always with respectful and constructive communication.
- You work within your team to negotiate and document standards and practices in software development.
- You research and shape multiple alternative technical solutions when possible.
- You assume end to end ownership on the team projects' delivery.
- You actively manage the technical documentation in your team.
- You actively manage the technical debt in your team.
- You participate in the hiring process with techfit interviews and tech challenge reviews.
- You have a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- You bring at least 5 years of development experience as a Java software developer.
- You know how to manage software projects to a successful delivery in a collaborative fashion.
- You have up-to-date, in-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle in a Java-technology landscape.
- You are comfortable with open code and architecture discussions.
- You bring experience with AWS Services, K8S, Event Driven architecture (Kafka and ActiveMQ), Springboot, SQL and NoSQL.
- Fluency in English.
