In this role, you will be a key member of a dynamic global team responsible for Remote’s public relations and media outreach efforts around the world. You will take ownership of Remote’s public relations efforts in the Asia-Pacific region, leading high-profile communications campaigns that elevate brand awareness and support business objectives.
What you bring
- Professional experience in B2B communications and public relations in the Asia-Pacific region, preferably in Australia, New Zealand, and/or Singapore
- Experience working directly with Tier 1 global media including a track record of creative PR campaigns that have achieved their goals.
- Excellent writer and communicator with a keen attention to detail and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to work with and influence a range of stakeholders, including executive leaders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Writes and speaks fluent English. Additional languages are a plus.
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Remote’s relationships with press in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Work cross-functionally with leaders and colleagues across the business to craft and execute communications plans that achieve their goals.
- Write and edit content such as bylined articles, press releases, Q&As, briefing materials, award submissions, and speaking abstracts.
- Assist in managing surveys and other research projects, and analyze data, to generate insights for communications campaigns.
- Handle media enquiries.
- Support PR efforts at events Remote organizes and attends, including speaking opportunities and media interviews.
- Assist with tracking media coverage, reporting results, and maintaining communications calendars.

At first glance our salary bands seem quite wide - here is some context. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.
The base salary range for this full-time position is between 36,300$ USD to 90,850$ USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
