About the role

Due to the company growth, we are looking for an exceptionally driven individual to join us as a HR Manager to support our operations in Australia. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a fast growing organisation that is data driven.

What you’ll be doing

  • Review and develop ER policies and related processes in conjunction with Legal, Compliance and other relevant stakeholders, maintaining an oversight of legislative changes, in-line with best practice
  • Guide and drive strategies to resolve difficult and/or sensitive workplace matters, providing objective coaching and guidance on performance, conduct issues and investigations
  • Proactively conduct investigations into ER trends, synthesise data, identify root causes and recommend actions
  • Supporting Heads of Departments in the implementation of important HR projects
  • Review and develop ER policies and related processes in conjunction with Legal, Compliance and other relevant stakeholders, maintaining an oversight of legislative changes, in-line with best practice
  • Coordinate and manage pre-onboarding and on-boarding processes for our employees in Australia
  • You will be the first point of contact for employee queries (sick leave, paid leave, parental leave, etc)
  • You will closely work with our internal payroll team ensuring correct data is transferred to the external payroll providers

Administrate internal tools and benefits

  • Preparation of HR documentation like certificates, references, etc.
  • Point of contact for workplace related matters

Skills you’ll need

  • You have completed studies with focus on HR, Business administration or similar
  • You have already gained minimum 7-10 years of solid experience in HR ideally a fast paced company

Knowledge of Australian Labour Law

  • Experience in a similar position at a senior level
  • Experience in managing high volume and complex employee relations cases
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrable experience in reviewing and developing policies and procedures
