We’re looking for a Compliance Assurance Manager who’ll join us and help us improve all aspects of finance and risk management.

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with the design and implementation of the UK-focused Compliance monitoring and assurance programme, including the compliance risk assessment, control testing, and related testing scopes
  • Completing monitoring activities and assurance reviews, leveraging skills in advanced data analytics
  • Monitoring and understanding the UK regulatory landscape, deep-diving into areas of focus to ensure we are delivering good customer outcomes
  • Contributing to Compliance processes by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards
  • Executing project plans to address remediation efforts and testing review findings, which may include process updates, documentation and/or training
  • Driving execution of multiple concurrent UK-focused reviews, including subsequent management reporting related to review outcomes and findings
  • Challenging colleagues to build an efficient, world-class risk management control framework whilst delivering good customer outcomes
  • Using data analytics to identify actionable insights, which result in material enhancements to the control environment

What you'll need

  • 2+ years of experience working within a UK Based FinTech, traditional financial institution, or regulatory body
  • 1+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, assurance or internal/external audit, focusing on the Risk and Compliance domains
  • Experience with FCA or PRA regulations
  • Relevant compliance qualifications, ACAMS/ACOI/ICA
  • Experience in interrogating large data sets to identify actionable insights
  • Results driven, pragmatic, and detailed-oriented approach
  • Love for problem solving and work collaboratively to do so
  • Ability to explain complex things very easily
  • To possess a willingness to learn and an interest in compliance
  • Experience in creating or utilising test scripts/procedures
