About the role
Our Compliance team underpins the long term success of the business by ensuring our products and processes adhere to all regulatory and quality standard requirements.
As a part of this team, your expertise in compliance matters and eye for detail will ensure the best possible outcomes both internally and externally for our customers.
Working independently but also within a team, you will be tasked with identifying regulatory obligations for Revolut, associated risks, as well as suggesting controls to mitigate these risks. You will be conducting thorough testing in a dynamic, digital, and data driven environment.

What you’ll be doing
- Validating if regulatory obligations are mapped to existing controls for each set of regulations, if it is correct, or if controls that should be mapped are missing
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members in conducting the Quality Control checks. This includes mentoring less-experienced colleagues
- Providing well-informed recommendations for improving existing processes within 2LOD, ensuring alignment with best practices and a diligently documented governance structure
- Paying meticulous attention to detail through reviewing work performed by RegCompliance SMEs
- Communicating feedback from the reviews performed to stakeholders
- Contributing to compliance processes and minimum standards by identifying opportunities for improved adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards
- Maintaining and improving the methodology and adjusting the approach to future process changes
- Reviewing the quality and documentation of decisions made and deliverables created by Escalation officers, RegCompliance SMEs, and Compliance Managers across 1LOD and 2LOD
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience working in Regulatory Compliance across the three lines of defence, in a Fintech, traditional financial institution, consultancy company, or regulatory body.
- Experience in interpreting texts from laws or regulations, preferably related to the following regulators: UK FCA (FCA Handbook), Bank of England/PRA (PRA Handbook), EBA, ECB (e.g. PSD2); and/or Bank of Lithuania regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and providing constructive feedback on the work of peers or team members
- Knowledge of the best practise RegCompliance controls used in the industry.
- To be results-driven, pragmatic, and have a detailed-oriented approach.
- An interest in compliance and willingness to deepen your knowledge.
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- A Degree in Law or Languages
- Proven experience in managing teams and individuals, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve both individual and collective goals
- Experience in specifically in Insurance (ICOBS), Crypto-assets regulatory change (MICA), investment protections (MIFID). Financial Promotions, Anti-Bribery, and Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, Conduct Risk (Consumer Duty) and/or Payments (PSR 2017) related regulations
- Relevant experience in assurance or internal/external audit, focusing on risk and compliance domains
- Familiarity with insurance/audit reviews
- Experience creating or utilising test scripts/procedures
- Relevant Reg Compliance certifications, such as ICA and CISI
Compensation range
- Vilnius: €4,200 - €6,000 gross monthly*
- Lithuania: €4,200 - €6,000 gross monthly*
- Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process
*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
