About the role

The Global Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) team is focused on directing and shaping those aspects in our workplace and how their performance is managed within Revolut to ensure day-to-day implementation of Revolut’s management systems.

We’re looking for a Workplace Manager (HSE) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment by implementing and maintaining health and safety policies across our operations.

You‘ll be conducting risk assessments, identifying potential hazards, and developing safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries or incidents. Working closely with various teams, you‘ll provide training, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations. You‘ll also lead incident investigations and collaborate on emergency preparedness plans, fostering a culture of safety within Revolut.

What you’ll be doing

  • Serving as the subject matter expert and collaborating with applicable teams/internal stakeholders to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborating with the Global EHS team on the development and implementation of the global Health & Safety Management System
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards
  • Interpreting and understanding Revolut’s legal obligations, especially in maintaining compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation
  • Supporting the Facilities Management team to manage and coordinate building safety-related information and periodically visiting our offices
  • Managing the EHS service desk, reviewing home workstation self-assessments, and responding to individual/team support requests
  • Monitoring performance against HSE objectives and targets, taking preventative actions as necessary
  • Investigating incidents and accidents, taking appropriate corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence
  • Planning and executing global projects, managing resources, and reporting on objectives and their progress
  • Undertaking regular audits of the Health & Safety Management System
  • Keeping abreast of developments in legislation and best practise, and recommending changes to the management system as necessary
  • Coaching colleagues to build knowledge of health and safety processes

What you'll need

  • A level of education required by local legislation to act as the competent person
  • Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant experience understanding and applying EU Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills

Nice to have

  • Exposure to or a basic understanding of wider health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of good practice
  • Experience in environment management systems
