About the team:

The Brokerage Operations team at Robinhood is responsible for traditional middle office brokerage operations to include Market Operations, Account Operations Fraud Operations and Customer Service (CX). Our mission is to deliver an excellent end-customer experience and mitigate firm risk while supporting cutting-edge brokerage and financial products. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter to join our Brokerage Operations team and focus on quality. As a Brokerage Quality Specialist, you’ll be responsible for building out a quality assurance program across the Brokerage Operations department, which is inclusive of new accounts, equities trading, options, account review, and more. You’ll strategize quality by ensuring operational procedures are in line with standard operating procedures, performing assessments and tracking quality metrics, and use data to test and improve SLAs. This role will be critical to ensuring high standards of quality for Robinhood’s introducing broker.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities.
  • Use advanced knowledge to provide guidance in the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of complex quality assurance/control programs, practices and policies.
  • Identify and evaluate quality standards, measurements, and process improvements to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Use quality methods and tools to identify, analyze, improve, and implement effective and efficient business solutions.
  • Perform independent assessments to identify training needs and improvement opportunities for program effectiveness.
  • Brief key stakeholders on results, trends, initiatives, and recommends courses of action.
  • Serve as a functional expert and coach to peers and team members and acts as a resource for escalated issues of an unusual nature.

About you:

  • Strong written communication skills
  • Insane attention to detail
  • Experience in analyzing data, identifying trends, and influencing decisions on recommended strategies to remedy issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of core processes to ensure quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and passion for brokerage operations and financial markets
  • Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments; strong bias to action
  • Ability to produce, track, and display data in a digestible way
  • Ability to manage multiple reviews in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • 2+ years experience in Brokerage Operations or Financial Services

Colorado Residents Only: In accordance with Colorado state law, Robinhood provides an estimate of the pay range associated with this role. In Colorado, the target salary for this position is $66,000 to $78,000. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience and certifications. Successful candidates for this role are eligible to participate in Robinhood’s equity plan. [Please note that this information is only provided publicly for candidates in Colorado, but the role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.]
