You are:

  • Experience: 5+ years experience working in a fast-paced environment; thorough understanding of US visas types (F-1, H-1B, TN, O-1); working knowledge of Canada immigration laws, knowledge of HR practices and principles preferred but not required.
  • Customer Service Focus: Handle inquiries and requests from internal and external groups. Passion for helping people and solving problems.
  • Organized: Create scalable, simple, and organized processes.
  • Confidentiality: Manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor with a high regard for confidentiality.
  • Tools: Excel, Word, Powerpoint. Prior experience working with a HRIS (preferably Workday) preferred but not required.
  • Team Oriented: Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multiple team members.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Location: Work in San Mateo Headquarters.

You will:

  • Manage immigration operational policies and end-to-end processes as the main point of contact for all immigration and mobility related matters
  • Advise stakeholders and host informational sessions on immigration requirements, regulatory updates, processes, and timelines
  • Work cross functionally with employees, managers, Talent Acquisition, and Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Product business groups
  • Partner with outside immigration counsel to initiate new cases and manage work authorization renewals
  • Keep employees informed by creating and maintaining parts of our internal resources, ensuring FAQ content is updated and accessible.
  • Partner with Onboarding teams to manage and ensure a great experience for new hires
  • Collaborate within the People team on projects, programs, and initiatives to support Roblox’s growth
