At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there.

A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone.

We are searching for an outstanding Senior Product Advocate (aka Game Product Manager) to help the next generation of game developers take full advantage of their success on the Roblox platform.

As an authority on game analytics and products, this person will work with the Developer Excellence team to deploy best in class features and monetization strategies to our diverse community of professional developers. This person will apply their experience as a Game PM to identify and recommend liveops features and best practices that can be shared with our developer community.

This person will also work to provide the “professional developer perspective” to internal product teams, helping to ensure that Roblox provides the best opportunity for any game developer.

You will:

  • Work with a team of designers helping our development community build and deploy best in class features.
  • Develop data driven strategies to measure the impact of implemented features.
  • Help to identify baseline game KPIs for an evolving F2P platform.
  • Collaborate directly with developers to improve features.
  • Advocate for data informed game development and LiveOps.
  • Consult with internal teams providing valuable insights on FTP data informed game design.
  • Help identify inefficiencies and provide long term solutions in our feature development process to ensure developers have access to the data they need to achieve success.

You have:

  • A passion for game development.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management and / or data analysis, F2P mobile games and other consumer facing products.
  • Expertise in F2P monetization features, live operations, and managing complex game ecosystems.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills. Able to articulate the “why” instead of just the “how” and “what” to ensure developers not only take action but apply takeaways for future features.
  • Business statistics knowledge: know when to use and not to use data, able to translate product problems to analytics problems to product solutions; ability to set expectations, have hypotheses, interpret data in a meaningful and actionable way, and manipulate and visualize data in excel (sql is a plus).
  • Ability to advise Game Developers on data informed game design, live operations, and user acquisition.
  • Used game development experience to consult on how to shape positive player behavior.
  • An understanding of how to engage and inspire developer teams to deliver the best quality product possible.
