An opportunity has arisen for a hands on and driven Web Developer to join our website team on an initial 12 month contract with a view to made permanent due to continued growth across the company.

As Web Developer you’ll be responsible for implementing marketing strategic initiatives across our Wordpress websites, helping us to convert prospects into delighted customers. You will demonstrate strong Wordpress plug-in and integration and development experience and will partner closely with designers, marketers and analysts to develop dynamic user experiences that are user-friendly.

  • Develop a best-in-class digital experience for our customers
  • Work with designers, marketers and analysts to develop dynamic user experiences that are user-friendly
  • Deliver cross-browser, optimised and responsive code
  • Produce clean, maintainable and scalable codeImplement best implementation coding practices across web projectsIdentify and initiate projects to increase performance of the website

What do I need?

  • You have 5+ years experience building production-level websites
  • Strong Wordpress plug-in/integration/development experience
  • Experience in PHP, Wordpress, MySQL
  • Experienced in HTML, JS, CSS/SASSExperience with task runners and bundlers (Webpack)Experience building pages with custom fields
  • High understanding of the most updated version of Gutenberg
  • Experience in executing technical SEOKnowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formatsProficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT)Have great time management and stakeholder management skills
