AI is rapidly changing the world, and Scale is growing to meet that rapid demand. We’re looking for a Head of Recruiting who can effectively lead a 5-10 person team of recruiters & recruiting coordinators. You’ll be responsible for developing a vision & strategy that will scale alongside the new challenges we’ll face as we grow.

You will:

  • Manage, lead, coach, develop, and drive results from a team of 5-10 recruiters & recruiting coordinators
  • Build strong relationships across Scale, especially with department heads and hiring managers
  • Develop a deep understanding of our business and culture in order to provide strategic guidance on how to find and close on key talent
  • Serve as an individual contributor for strategic hires as needed
  • Develop the vision & strategy for the recruiting function
  • Define key success metrics and consistently guide the team to achieve them
  • Help ensure we build inclusive and diverse teams as we grow

Ideally you’d have:

  • 7+ years of recruiting experience, including technical recruiting experience
  • Experience managing & leading recruiting teams that hire at least 100 people/year
  • Ability to use data - both quantitative and qualitative - to influence hiring managers and leaders
  • Ability to build training programs that enable & coach teams
  • Ability to successfully find, engage, qualify, and close underrepresented talent
  • Ability to distill & structure complex information into a consumable and organized format
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
