Scale AI is looking for an Internal Communications Lead to build and elevate our internal communications program. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor to cross-functional stakeholders to reach internal audiences -- articulating company-wide strategy, building confidence and trust in leadership through programs and department-specific initiatives, and mobilizing employees around Scale’s ambitious goals.
Candidates must be strategic thinkers with meticulous attention to detail and deadlines. The ability to stay calm under pressure is a must, as is a deep understanding of Scale and our culture. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, be creative, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Build the internal communications strategy and ongoing programs to keep teams informed, inspired, and connected to Scale’s mission, culture, and values
- Develop content and execution of All Hands, CEO updates, change management, and more
- Write and develop messaging around various topics, including business and company strategy, priorities, program launches and announcements
- Identify opportunities to share organization milestones with the broader company audience
- Partner with key leadership team members on department-specific All Hands, updates, and other initiatives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement consistent messaging across the organization
- Partner closely with internal and external communications team members as well as HR and Business Leads to align on communication opportunities
- Implement data measurement and analysis strategies to guide internal communications best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
- 7 or more years of professional experience working in internal communications, corporate communications, political campaigns, or non-profit communications
- Produced content for internal audiences at varying levels across an organization
- Writing and turning complex information into relevant and engaging content
- Led internal communications campaigns and programming for diverse audiences
- Technology industry experience
Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval.
