As a Business Development Representative (BDR) you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients and reports to the BDR Manager.

  • The BDR will actively drive outreach campaigns via email and cold calling.  This position will work closely with the sales and marketing departments.
  • This role is provided sales training, through the renowned Challenger sales model, to enhance your sales career.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound cold calling campaigns, 80+ calls per day.
  • Manage open Campaigns/Sequences via email, task and call completion.
  • Contact and qualify in-bound leads, complete needs assessment and scheduling demos for sales consultants.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Report to the Business Development Supervisor on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results.
  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
  • Minimal Travel expected.

What you’ll bring:

  • High school diploma is required, bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferably working in sales or a customer service-related role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone presence that easily connects to potential clients.
  • Experience with HubSpot preferred.
  • Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow and excel in their role.

Where you’ll work:

Our headquarters is located in St. Louis, however, we’ll be remote until the time is right to return to the office. When that happens, St. Louis-based employees will be moving to a hybrid work model (three days in office with the option to work remotely for the remaining two). Fully remote employees will be able to stay remote.
