ServiceTitan is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Business Development to join our fast-growing SaaS company, backed by the best VC firms in the SaaS space, and recently ranked #5 on The Cloud 100. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our business development efforts, identifying new partnership opportunities, and expanding our market presence. This position will report to the Chief Business Officer and will collaborate closely with our executive team to scale our partnerships efforts to new heights, create new levers for growth, and define our position as the “Centerpiece of the Trades Economy.”

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Trades Economy and key stakeholders therein.
  • Craft long-term strategies to foster ServiceTitan’s ecosystem of partners as the leading edge of innovation for the Trades.
  • Manage, motivate, and cultivate a team of high-caliber professionals.
  • Negotiate strategic agreements that optimize short and long term outcomes for all parties - partners, customers and ServiceTitan.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure that our products and solutions meet the needs of our partners and customers.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market strategies and enable successful partnership execution.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
  • Champion partners and their experience with internal stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of business development / partnership experience, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships with counterparties of all sizes.
  • Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across departments internally and externally including R&D, Legal, Finance, Sales and C-Suite.
  • Strong understanding of the Trades market landscape, including key players, trends, and opportunities.
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal-making skills, with the ability to structure and close complex partnership agreements.
  • Understanding of the technical components of an API and an API marketplace.
  • Ability to identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships that leverage our API capabilities and enhance our service offerings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and business cases to senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $242,000 USD - $302,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
