As an Instructional Designer, you have the opportunity to serve, help and guide shop owners and teams who are growing their business with Shopmonkey. You would be responsible for creating and maintaining internal/external asynchronous content to support Shopmonkey colleagues and customers (i.e. articles, videos, webinars, course content, etc.)

You have the Opportunity to:

  • Design and create eLearning assets (articles, videos, webinars, course content, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to conduct needs assessments and gather feedback
  • Communicate thoughtful, customized solutions that help customers learn and grow their business
  • Learn all about the Shopmonkey product suite and automotive industry

We are looking for People who:

  • Have at least 2+ years of relevant experience preferred:
  • ELearning development
  • Ability to apply Instructional Design theory and science
  • Learning Management System + Course authoring tools
  • Ccs/html
  • Action Mapping & ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)
  • Provide portfolio of examples and be prepared to demonstrate skills as part of the interview process
  • Have a clear, professional, friendly and informative communication style
  • Enjoy creative problem solving and encountering new challenges
  • Have exceptional project management skills with a proven ability to multi-task
  • Are a self-directed learner and highly motivated to grow
  • Thrive in a dynamic & collaborative startup environment, and are comfortable with ambiguity
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving customer needs
  • Have a related education background (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Have familiarity with a SaaS business models a plus
  • As a nice plus, truly appreciate cars and/or are familiar with the automotive industry!
