Reporting to the Sr. Director of Product Marketing, the successful PMM in this role will apply a full range of product marketing skills—product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, market research, product launches, GTM strategy, storytelling, and more. You possess a strong mindset focused on the solution and the buyer, the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value, and a demonstrated record of taking compelling narratives to market. You are able to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and customer success, to drive successful business outcomes.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Drive ambitious go-to-market plans with stakeholders across product management, product design, sales, customer success, and enablement
  • Own intelligence and champion our customers—be the expert on our buyers, our market, and our competition
  • Continuously refine, validate, codify, and evangelize value-based positioning and segmentation for our audiences
  • Develop and validate persona-based messaging on which you’ll train and standardize the company
  • Deliver sales toolkits and processes that optimize our Revenue team's ability to sell
  • Content and campaign strategy, creation, and delivery: Create relevant content (blogs, guides, whitepapers), concept-integrated campaigns, and other vehicles (webinars, newsletters) that drive new business pipeline and engage customers
  • Set and measure your work against key performance indicators and report on weekly progress
  • Drive buyer and market research to inform value proposition, messaging frameworks, and persona development for new product offerings and adjacent market opportunities

We are looking for people who have:

  • Demonstrated accountability for revenue impact
  • Superb written, storytelling, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly articulate and diplomatic, able to advocate for a course of action with supporting data and gracefully make arguments
  • Ability to listen and build authentic connections with others
  • Always curious, always learning, not afraid to ask questions
  • BS/BA and 6+ years of B2B SaaS experience in product marketing
  • Strong attention to detail yet able to understand and influence larger business strategy
  • Outstanding prioritization and organization skills, undaunted by fast-paced environments
  • A humble, dependable, transparent team player

In the United States the range is typically a salary of $140,000 to $145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. The range provided is Shopmonkey’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities. Consult with your Recruiter during the initial call to determine a more targeted range based on these job-related factors. In addition to this base compensation company stock options and benefits as outlined below are included.
