This person does NOT need to know all the answers, but rather is excited by and takes initiative to learn from and collaborate with a great team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Optimize and validate all aspects of the wireless system to ensure the performance of new designs are meeting the highest bar of quality
  • Develop LabVIEW software applications to accelerate product development
  • Utilize hardware and software skills to innovate in advanced development efforts as we push the limits on the capability and performance of our products
  • Tuning and optimizing RF performance on PCB designs
  • Developing test software in LabVIEW
  • Debugging and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Working in a lab environment with Analog and RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, LitePoint WiFi/BT tester, Oscilloscope, etc...)
  • Post-processing and analyzing data
  • Designing hardware test fixtures
  • Approximately spending 70% time in lab and 30% of time coding

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electric Engineering (EE) or Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) (a major or minor in Computers Science is a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience in a hardware test/validation role
  • Experience developing software applications for hardware test automation (LabVIEW, Python, Matlab, C#, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers
  • Familiarity of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts & scalable software design principles
  • An excitement and eagerness to learn and grow in wireless communication technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, and more)
