As Marketing Operations Specialist, you will report directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing Operations as well as work very closely with the Americas Retail Marketing team and you will be responsible for the operation of key areas of our business including Digital Asset Management, localization planning, licensing coordination, and Americas retail marketing support.

The ideal candidate will be a talented marketing specialist with exceptional administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and have previous experience keeping projects/programs on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status updates. The role will have a strong focus on building relationships with the Americas Marketing team, the Americas Commercial team, Global Marketing Operations team, and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

DAM Coordination + Localization Planning:

  • Archivist, organizer, and guardian of Sonos’s files, photos, video, audio, and other digital content
  • Monitor DAM monthly to identify licensed creative that’s expiring and ensure the system is appropriately set up to notify users of expiring creative
  • Support user groups, accounts and permissions management
  • Be familiar with the DAM reporting functionality and be able to pull key data as requested
  • Planning for localization on key global programs in partnership with the local-market Sonos teams and localization agency.
  • Organize and lead local agency immersion sessions for key programs/product launches

Licensing Coordination:

  • Liaise between functions at Sonos requesting content that needs to be licensed (DTC, user experience, marketing, etc.)
  • Confirm funding and identify key deal terms (license period, channel usage, etc.) and signee
  • Coordinate with our Accounts Payable team to set up new vendors and open POs.
  • Maintain a holistic licensing tracker and manage comprehensive approval process

Americas Retail Marketing Coordination:

  • Support Americas Retail Marketing team to execute channel marketing programs, campaign execution, and physical display updates that will drive impact and brand awareness in retail
  • Manage asset development process for new products, seasonal campaigns, and promotions, partnering closely with Marketing Operations and production agencies
  • Budget management including POs, invoicing, maintaining budget documents and trackers
  • General marketing admin including owning team meetings and agendas, leading the creation of team presentations, and maintenance of files, presentations and drives across Americas Marketing team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of sales and marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience and ability to work with teams and cross functional stakeholders to execute deliverables seamlessly
  • Self-starter who will work with teams hands-on to tackle complex problems
  • Confident working in a go-to-market led, fast-paced, high growth, product-driven environment
  • Experience working in a consumer-facing technology company
  • Experience working for a global brand with an understanding of how assets are adapted and localized before launching in-market
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent business Spanish and/or French (written/verbal) - desired, not essential
  • Verification of your employment eligibility in the US is required
