Sourceful helps businesses with product sourcing for their supply chains, from packaging (boxes, tape, envelopes, stationery) to finished goods using technology to digitise and optimise the sourcing flow. 75% of the carbon impact in an industry comes from the supply chain (product and logistics). With the development of new materials, better energy sources and consumer awareness, the momentum is shifting, but we want to accelerate that change.

Sourceful was founded in June 2020 by Wing Chan, Ex-CMO and CTO at The Hut Group (LSE:THG £1Bn in Revenues in 2019) and is Venture Capital backed by some of the leading angels and investors in Europe.

We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Manager who wants to join a mission-driven start-up. Reporting to COO, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact with the founding team of a fast-growing, well-funded business.

Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging content that resonates with the target audience (Manufacturers, Suppliers, Logistics partners, Alliances) that is aligned with the company’s mission, strategy and objectives
  • Develop, manage and regularly update Sourceful China marketing channels
  • Monitor the number of China-market related visits and engagement metrics with the website and social media platforms to understand the impact of the business content produced and how it drives potential partners to our sites
  • Work with PR agencies to receive media coverage, win awards and establish market presence to amplify reach and increase awareness of the solutions
  • Work with creative digital agencies to grow the online presence with SEO, PPC and email marketing
  • Work with stakeholders to produce quarterly partnership newsletters, offline events and/or webinars to inform the partner ecosystem of Sourceful’s value-add and progression
  • Look for innovative ways to engage with potential partners and capture data in a digital format - to be used for events and external opportunities
  • Research the market to find new technologies and tools that can provide a competitive advantage to analyse contact success and simplify customer communications to improve the return on investment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience within digital marketing
  • Relevant work experience with business-to-business (B2B) partner management within marketing
  • Positive, self-starter attitude with a desire to exceed expectations, who is comfortable with multi-tasking, working with multiple stakeholders and able to deliver under pressure and to deadlines
  • Passion for sustainability and mission alignment with Sourceful’s long-term goals
  • Interpersonal skills, including communication and teamwork. Ability to work across departmental boundaries and contribute to team initiatives
  • Thorough understanding of internet technologies, trends and techniques and social media
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Experience of writing for impactful digital platforms and knowledge of email marketing best practice
