PDE Office · Barcelona · Hybrid Senior Product Marketing Management The opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape how Spendesk brings its products to market, tells its story, and turns customer and market insights into commercial impact.

Reporting to the Product Marketing Team Lead, you’ll work at the intersection of Product, Marketing and Revenue. You’ll understand what matters most to finance teams, how our products solve their problems, and how to communicate that value clearly across different markets, customer segments, and stages of the customer journey.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who can bring together market insights, customer empathy, product understanding, commercial thinking, and sharp storytelling. You’ll work across multiple product areas, helping to shape positioning, support launches, analyse commercial data, strengthen our competitive narrative, and enable customer-facing teams.

You’ll bring pace and focus, but also thoughtfulness and craft. You’ll be comfortable turning insight into action, balancing strategic thinking with practical execution, and using in-market learnings to continuously improve.

What you’ll do
  • Champion our product, collaborating closely with product teams and advocating our products and features value to our external and internal audiences.

  • Build clear positioning and messaging that translates complex product capabilities into simple, compelling stories for finance teams.

  • Turn customer insight into strategy, gathering and using a variety of insights to build a clear picture of customer needs, pain points, buying behaviours, and opportunities.

  • Drive competitive intelligence and data analysis, turning insights into practical recommendations that help strengthen our ability to win.

  • Lead go-to-market moments with pace and precision, working closely with Product, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.

  • Shape how Spendesk brings products to market, contributing to end-to-end product marketing strategy across launches, adoption and ongoing product narratives.

  • Connect product marketing work to business outcomes, helping improve metrics that contribute to business and team goals.

  • Build high-quality core PMM assets yourself, from messaging frameworks and launch briefs to sales decks, emails, positioning docs, and strategic recommendations.

  • Develop and evolve market segmentation, helping Spendesk understand where we can create the most value across company sizes, regions, personas and use cases.

  • Create enablement that Sales and Customer Success teams actually use, building both strong relationships and resources that build confidence and consistency.

  • Partner with Marketing to bring product stories to market, shaping campaigns, website messaging, and other moments that help customers and prospects understand why Spendesk matters.

  • Drive cross-functional clarity, helping teams align on what we’re saying, why it matters, who it is for, and how it should show up across customer touchpoints.

Experience we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if the following sounds like you.

You know how to make products make sense

You have 3 to 5+ years in product marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, financial services, or another multi-product environment. You’re confident turning detailed product capabilities into clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with customers.

You have excellent writing and editorial judgement. You can produce crisp briefs, compelling narratives, sales materials, positioning docs, and strategic recommendations that help teams understand what we’re saying, why it matters, and how to use it.

You are led by customers, markets, and evidence

You’re naturally curious about customers and comfortable building insight from multiple sources, including customer interviews, feedback analysis, product usage data, sales input, competitor research, and win/loss analysis.

You can spot patterns across what customers say, how prospects buy, how competitors position themselves, and how markets are shifting, then turn those insights into sharper positioning, clearer recommendations, and better go-to-market decisions.

You can connect product marketing to business impact

You understand how product marketing supports the full customer journey, from awareness and pipeline quality through to conversion, adoption, retention, expansion, and product usage.

You have experience contributing to go-to-market planning, including product launches, adoption initiatives, campaign inputs, enablement, and success measurement. You’re comfortable using qualitative and quantitative data to identify opportunities, measure performance, and improve over time.

You bring teams with you

You’re a strong cross-functional partner who can work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and senior stakeholders. You create alignment around a clear plan and help teams move with confidence.

You have experience creating sales enablement that is practical, clear, and useful. You know how to build strong relationships with customer-facing teams and help them communicate value with confidence.

You can work across markets, products, and audiences

You’re comfortable working across multiple markets, customer segments, or product areas, and you enjoy connecting the dots between them. You bring clarity across teams and help shape messaging that can flex across regions, personas, and use cases.

Please don’t see everything in this list as a must-have. We’re not looking for someone who simply checks every box. We’re looking for someone who can help us grow, challenge our thinking, and raise the bar for how we bring Spendesk products to market.

Fluency in English is required, as well as fluency in either French, German, or Spanish.

As we are an international team, please submit your application and CV in English.
